Course Descriptions
Students in Humanities 9 (World History I and Literature I) will explore their Western heritage, being guided to appreciate history and literature as theoretical fields that call for disciplined methodology. Students are exposed to the basics of government, economics, sociology, religious studies, etc. as cultures from Mesopotamia to Rome are examined. The guiding principles of our class will be the Christian worldview as articulated in the Apostle’s Creed, and we will see how the course of human history confirms the Biblical account of the nature of mankind.
